NCSM Mission Statement

The Northern California Society for Microscopy (NCSM) is dedicated to advancing the understanding and application of microscopy—with a specialized focus on electron microscopy—across industry, academia, and research institutions. Our mission is to foster innovation, collaboration, and excellence in imaging science throughout the region.

A vibrant, non-profit community of researchers, engineers, students, and industry professionals, NCSM provides a platform for mentorship, technical growth, and cross-disciplinary exchange. We serve as a local hub for microscopy knowledge and networking.
